Aegina has a large number of small churches and chapels. Each one with its own distinct style, color, materials, position on the map, it adds something to the mosaic of the island. Only a few of the recommended ones for visiting or organizing personal events follow: Agioi Anargyri (in the namesake village), Agioi Apostoli (Plakakia), Agios Vasilios (in the namesake village), Agios Georgios (Pagoni), Agia Marina (chapel in the namesake village but also in Kypseli), Agia Skepi (at Agios Nektarios), Apostolon Akyla & Priscillas (Perdika), Prophitis Elias (Aeginitissa), Prophitis Elias (Agioi Asomatoi), Timios Stavros (Paleochora), Agios Ioannis Kryfos (Aphaia).
