The House and the Bust of Angelos Sikelianos
The home of the great Greek poet Angelos Sikelianos, at the beach of the Monastery of Faneromeni, was restored (2003-2006) by the mayor Vangelis Agapiou. He lived there from 1933 to 1950, and was a place of inspiration for him, having written his most important works there. His home has been renovated and now houses a museum in which the poet's personal items, furniture and relics are housed. Next to the house is the bust. At the same place is located the Navy Naval Station. The best access for the poet's home is with the boat from Nea Peramos.
