The deserted village at Plakoto
You will find it at the area where the so-called tomb of Homer stands and you will go through a passable dirt road. From a distance only the chapel of Panagia stands out, which is in a good condition. Walking around you will discover the relics of a stone built settlement. The residents say that it was built by a family of cattle breeders that lived there permanently, along with their herds, up until the middle of the previous century.
