Skete of Mikri Agia Anna
The Skete of Mikri Agia Anna, also known as Mikragianna, is located in the so-called desert of Mount Athos and belongs to the Monastery of Megisti Lavra. It is built on a rocky slope and consists of ten "Huts", two of which do not have a church. According to written testimonies, the skete was established in the 16th century by two ascetic monks. The monks of the hermitage are mainly engaged in small crafts, carpentry, chanting and the production of musk and perfumes.
