Chora – Stavros – Rachidi – Lakkous
Starting from the center of the village, this route takes us to the northern part of the island (1), towards the heart of Anafi’s mainland. The trail road is uphill and well-preserved, leading to Stavros country chapel, which dates back to the byzantine period (2). From that point and for about 500 meters on, the pathway follows a rural road, taking us to the Rachidi site, crossing the mountainous area called Vigla. The landscape is marked by a plethora of traditional rural houses (katikies). Continuing with the route, we follow a downhill trail road which brings us to the once beaming with life Lakkous region (3).
