Μετάφραση Greek Version

The Greek orthodox chapel of Analipsi (Ascension of Jesus) stands at the end of the jetty in Gialiskari, Ikaria. The chapel was built by an Ikarian when he returned to his homeland from the United States where he lived. This little whitewashed chapel with the blue dome was built on a small island just off the coast in 1965. It is one of the most picturesque on the island and from afar seems like it is floating in the sea. Definitely a great place to visit and enjoy a stunning sunset.
