Alimos Marina is the largest marina in the Balkans and one of the most popular yacht charter bases in the eastern Mediterranean. Ideally located on the Athens Riviera, it serves as the main departure point for yacht charters in Greece, offering easy access to the Cyclades, Saronic Gulf, and Aegean islands.

Operating in full accordance with international safety and service standards, Alimos Marina features 1,064 permanent berths and winter storage space for around 600 boats. It can accommodate yachts up to 40 meters in length, with a maximum depth of 6.5 meters — making it suitable for sailing yachts, catamarans, and motor yachts alike.

Currently, an ambitious redevelopment and modernization project is transforming Alimos Marina into one of the most advanced marinas in the Mediterranean, with upgraded facilities, green spaces, and improved visitor services. Despite ongoing works, the marina remains fully operational, welcoming hundreds of skippers, yacht owners, and charter guests every day.

Location & Access

Alimos Marina enjoys a strategic location just 15 km from the center of Athens and 8 km from the Port of Piraeus. It is extremely well-connected and easy to reach by public transport, airport bus, tram, or car.

By Bus: The 1st Kalamaki Stop is right outside the marina, served by lines A1, B1, B2, and the X96 Airport–Piraeus Express, which provides direct service to and from Athens International Airport (Eleftherios Venizelos).

By Tram: The “Pikrodafni” tram stop, located at the marina’s main entrance, connects Alimos with central Athens, Piraeus, and Voula, offering a scenic route along the coast.

By Car: From downtown Athens, follow Syngrou Avenue and Poseidonos Avenue toward Glyfada. Travelers coming from the E75 motorway can also reach the marina easily via Poseidonos Avenue.

By Air: The marina is approximately 40 minutes from Athens Airport, depending on traffic. The X96 express bus is a convenient and budget-friendly transfer option for visitors with luggage.
