Leros Marina Evros S.A. was established in 1989, being the first marina and boatyard in the South Aegean. It is located in the safest part of Lakki Bay, which is well-protected from all the winds, including the ferocious SE Sirocco (SE wind, in Greek “Evros”). An extensive 500-meter breakwater, provides shelter for boats afloat from the occasionally fierce local winds. Located on the beautiful island of Leros, it is a great starting point for cruising and sailing the South Aegean Sea. The marina has been expanded since 1989 and has all the amenities of a modern marina. It can accommodate up to 220 vessels of various sizes in the water and has up to 600 dry berths ashore. All the berths are equipped with moorings, water and electricity supply. Equipped with three travel hoists (50, 70 and up to 150 tons), the marina's boatyard, allows the experienced and skilled staff to perform various works and repairs.
Leros Marina is surrounded by an array of popular tourist attractions, making it the perfect starting point for exploring Leros Island. If you are a fan of the Greek history, you should visit the Leros War Museum and admire the tunnels and the countless weapons. The Castle of Panagia is sure a delight for visitors of all ages, while the remarkable Archaeological Museum is just a short drive away. Leros Marina follows a highly sensitive environmental policy and has been continuously awarded with the “Blue Flag“, the most recognized award for the environmental protection. This fantastic establishment offers stunning views and convenient amenities, along with the many points of interest nearby.
