Monument and Statue of Athanasios Diakos
It is located on Diakou Square on which the statue of the hero of the revolution of '21, Athanasios Diakos, is erected.
On April 23, 1821 the land of Lamia was watered by the blood of the hero of the Revolution Athanasios Diakos who fell into the hands of the Turkish after the battle of Alamana and was executed.
Of great historical and national value is the statue of Athanasios Diakos, erected on Diakou Square in 1903.
