Μετάφραση Greek Version

The rocky islet of Agios Nikolaos (St. Nicholas) is located opposite the northern coast of Ithaca and the beaches of Marmaka and Alykes. It is covered by green shrubs and some pines and is surrounded by turquoise waters and some small rocks that emerge from the seabed. On the islet stands a small stone-built chapel with red tiles, dedicated to the holy martyr Agios Nikolaos the Younger.

The chapel celebrates every year on August, 10th, day on which a service is held and many believers come by boat from Frikes. The distance that separates the islet from the opposite coast is relatively short so, you can also reach it through swimming.
