Tombs Tents of Skopelos
The carved tombs in Sedoukia, Many stories are heard about hidden treasures that lie on the cliff that reaches the sea. These are four unique ancient carved tombs, probably of the Roman or Early Christian period. They are located in the mountain Karya of Skopelos (just above the Monastery of Agios Efstathios). Two of the graves are parallel to each other and are separated by a third that is unfinished and another that is parallel to the three and is two meters farther. The three completed graves have 2.5-meter shades of monolithic slabs and an upside-down sign has been found. You will get there from the dirt road to Karya (where is the source with the best water of the island). You will find many signs. Suddenly the road stops, you leave your car or motorbike (I recommend a motorbike) and following the various red marks on the stones next to the narrow path that leads to the tombs, you will reach the chests. From there you will have the chance to see Alonissos, Euboea, Skiathos and Pelion. If you are lucky, with good clarity, your eye will reach Halkidiki and Olympus. Most of all, it's worth walking to nature for those who love to walk.
