School of Fine Arts Hydra
The painter Periklis Byzantios (1893 - 1971), in 1936, together with the then director of the School of Fine Arts, created the branch of the School of Fine Arts in Hydra, housed in the four-storey mansion of Admiral Tombazis . The interior of the School of Fine Arts, located on the west side of the city, near the statue of Kountourioti, decorate paintings with historical events and ships of the 1821 season. The Templar Archonikos hosted Art and Literature personalities, such as Chagall and the writer Daninos .
