Korfos is the seaport of Manolas and the old port of the island of Thirasia. Today, the picturesque port is used only by sailing and excursion boats that make sea excursions from Athinios in Santorini to Palea and Nea Kameni and to Thirasia. Korfos is connected to Manolas through a path, made of 270 steps. The ascent is very demanding but there is always the choice of the donkeys. Its little beach is suitable for both swimming and fishing. In addition to the fishermen's shelters, in the small cove there are a few shops and some traditional tavernas. Korfos lies in the eastern part of the island and is a place worth visiting if you are in Santorini.
