The Athens Street Food Festival is the most popular gastronomy festival in Greece. It is held annually, in the heart of Athens, in a 4,700 sq. meters venue of great historic and architectural significance. The festival attracts thousands of people of all ages who come here to discover street editions of various cuisines, enjoy a drink, listen to music played by famous DJs and radio producers, or join a concert. The first Athens Street Food Festival took place in 2016, but its great success sparked an entire movement, with numerous restaurants and chefs throughout the country starting to offer their own takes on street food! Ever since, each May the Athens Street Food Festival is a leading event where many exclusive and innovative ideas from cuisines from all around the world are presented.
Access - Opening Hours
You can get to the venue where the festival is held by Metro (Stop Kerameikos), Bus 049, 815, 838, 914, B18, Γ18 (Stop Fotaerio), or by Trolley Bus No 21 from Omonoia Square (Stop Fotaerio). Tickets cost €3,00 and can be bought online. Opening hours are Friday 17:00 – 00:30, Saturday 12:00 – 01:00 and Sunday from 12:00 – 00:00.
