Evros Delta National Park

The Evros Delta National Park is one of the most important wetlands in Europe and one of the best birdwatching destinations in Greece. Located at the mouth of the Evros River on the border between Greece and Turkey, this protected ecosystem covers almost 190 km² of lagoons, freshwater marshes, reed beds and coastal wetlands.
