Sping at Mersini Village

The springs at Mersini Village is on the hike to Livadi Beach. It is the island’s only running water and the only place to enjoy some shade under a centenarian plane tree. The cooling water is drinkable and will help you after the hike from the beach back to the top. This is the place where a big festival takes place every year on September 17. Although Donoussa has some more natural springs, this is by far the one with the largest amount of water. As a result, the village is full of fruit trees and gardens filled with fresh vegetables.
