Vakratsa Mansion
The mansion of Vakritsa is located in the center of Skopelos Town, just above the beach. It is a typical example of a mansion in Skopelos and belonged to Mrs. Antigone Vakritsa, who donated it to the Municipality of Skopelos, in order to operate as a museum. Indeed, after some time it opened its doors to the public as a museum.
The heirlooms and personal belongings of the Bakrza family are displayed on the premises. Apart from these, visitors have the opportunity to see the interior of a typical Skopelos mansion. Finally, it is worth noting that in the beautiful courtyard area, with the characteristic palm tree, cultural events such as book presentations and speeches are organized. The Vakritsa Mansion is open daily, morning and afternoon.
