Georges Theotokis of Corfu
At Kiprianon Agona Square or Plakada tou Agiou is located the statue of the greek politician and prime minister of Greece George Theotokis who was four times Prime Minister of Greece, he was born in Corfu in February 1844 and died on 12 January 1916 in Athens, slthough his burial took place in Corfu. His sons, Ioannis Theotokis was prime minister of Greece and Nikolaos Theotokis was a politician and a diplomat who was executed in 1922 during the Asia Minor Catastrophe. Also his grandson was the politician and Prime Minister of Greece Georgios Rallis.
