Bridge of Alamanos

The stone bridge of Alamanos is located near the village of Skiti, in the regional unit of Larissa in Thessaly. It is a single arched stone bridge, built in 1858 with expenses by doctor Demetrios Alamanos from the island of Corfu. It is a masterpiece of art and technical perfection and an important historic monument for the area of Agia. The bridge spans over Megalo Rema Stream, also known as Potamia. There is not much information about the bridge other than its construction date and the man who sponsored the construction. The Alamanos bridge is very easy to spot it as it is very close to the road.
