St Paul's Chapel Lindos

The quaint white-washed chapel, of huge historical importance, lies in the horseshoe bay, opposite the Acropolis of Lindos, and next to the water’s edge. Founded in 1956, it is placed below the Ancient Acropolis of Lindos and the Tomb of one of the seven sages of Antiquity, Cleobulus of Lindos. From the beach of Lindos passed in 52 AD. the Apostle Paul on his third apostolic tour.

 

This traditional whitewashed Greek Orthodox Chapel with its courtyard is truly an unforgettable wedding venue. Couples from all over the world come to get married in this picturesque little church with the beautiful view.
