The coastline of Greece presents a great alternation with steep shores, sandy beaches, small and large peninsulas, enchanting coves as well as small and large islands. After all, the whole of Greece is a big "cape" of the Balkan Peninsula (the peninsula of Aimos). Many of the capes of Greece are of special interest due to their beautiful natural landscapes, or due to historical and impressive lighthouses that are found on them, or because of the wonderful beaches that exist there.
