Agia Triada Islet
The small islet of Agia Triada (Saint Trinity in English) lies off the resort town of Eretria on Evia, in the south Euboean Gulf. It is a natural haven of 50,316m², a privately owned island, comprised of a villa, two traditional Greek homes, a 17th-century observatory, a church and boathouse. An untouched paradise with olive trees, wildflowers, pistachio and cypress trees and a variety of fruits such as pomegranates, apricots and peaches, ringed by beaches, breathtaking views and crystal blue waters. The shape of Agia Triada resembles a guitar.
An island that the Beatles allegedly fell in love with and wanted to buy it when they visited Greece in summer 1967. They thought that the guitar shape was “karmic. The islet of Agia Triada boasts a colorful past and was frequently visited by celebrities including among others the Beatles, the Greek Royal Family and the Ethiopian Emperor Haile Selassie.
