The Souli watermills are the first sight you will come across heading towards the historic Souli. It is an idyllic location where you can find the remnants of an old watermill, huge plane trees, waterfalls and a small stream, all creating a site of unique beauty. According to tradition the old watermill was used by the people of Souli to grid their cereals. The water springs are located at the back of the old mill and the water falls into the river from a height of 15 meters, before end up in the famous Acheron River.
It is a nice place to discover as it offers peace and tranquility and is suitable for a nice stroll or hiking the path that leads to the mythical Acheron River. Do not miss to visit the the traditional coffee shop at the right of the mill where you can sit and relax under the shade of the huge plane trees having a cup of coffee or trying homemade local sweets.
