From Piraeus

Being a very popular holiday destination in Greece, there are frequent ferries from Piraues to Santorini throughout the year. The trip lasts 4 hours with a high-speed vessel and around 8 hours with a convential vessel.

From Rafina

There are a few ferries from Rafina to Santorini but mostly during the summer. The journey lasts approximately 5-6 hours with a high-speed ferry.

Connection with other islands

Santorini is connected by boat to Amorgos, Anafi, Thirasia, Ios, Kea, Kimolos, Koufonisi, Kythnos, Milos, Mykonos, Naxos, Paros, Serifos, Sikinos, Sifnos, Syros, Tinos, Folegandros, Karpathos, Kasos, Rhodes, Halki, Heraklio Crete and Sitia. The journey from Heraklio to Santorini lasts around 2 hours with a high-speed ferry. There are also several daily crossings from Santorini to Mykonos, Ios, Amorgos and Paros and vice versa.
