Naoussa Municipal Park

Naoussa Municipal Park is an interesting example of an historic garden which functionality is deeply rooted in the history of the local community. It is an example of a garden that was developed just before the darkest period of the European history and successfully redefined after WW II. The Municipal Park is an extremely natural location with excellent views on the east side, and many restaurants of different types to enjoy a nice meal on the west side. The park is spread around small ponds and there are walk ways that lead you right to the edge of the hill for beautiful vistas. It is a very beautiful park with flower gardens and a big lake with fish, ducks and swans. Several monuments are spread throughout the park and there is a small open-air theater too.The park is located in the center of the city and covers an extend of 30 acres. Naoussa Municipal Park is an official member of the European Route of Historic Gardens (ERHG).
