Manikiatis Waterfall
Greece is undoubtedly a place with many hidden natural beauties known only to lovers of exploration and adventure. Such a hidden earthy paradise is the Manikiatis waterfall in central Evia. The waterfall is located close to the village of Manikia and is a gem of the Evian countryside.
The hiking path starts 4 km outside the village of Manikia. It is an easy path for about 50 minutes in the direction of the Manikiatis river. Along the path, there are marks of red color, painted on the rocks by the locals. As you walk, the landscape is constantly changing. Rivers, waterfalls, ponds and natural pools, all in a stunning natural environment. The path crosses the river in several places but is still gentle to everyone. The route ends at an impressive waterfall 25 meters high with a deep natural pool formed right in front, where you can enjoy swimming, diving and a natural hot tub.
A visit to the Manikiatis waterfall is suitable for all those who love nature and adventure. It can be combined with a dive into one of the many beautiful beaches of Evia.
