Μετάφραση Greek Version

Diaporos is an islet in Halkidiki with warm, crystal clear, turquoise waters and is located just accross Vourvourou on the second peninsula very close to the coast. Dioporos belongs to a cluster of islands known as the "nine islands of Vourvouros". It is the largest one and like the other islands is uninhabited. It has a huge natural bay 700 meters long that ends in shallow water. The whole island is covered with pines that many of them grow so close to the beach that from afar they look like they emerge from the water. The bay serves as a mooring place for boats when the sea is rough. Warm water and no winds are also a guarantee almost all year round.

Diaporos has small beaches with golden, white sand giving the visitor the feeling that is in an exotic natural scenery. This little paradise is the ideal place for swimming, diving and snorkelling. The reef that surrounds the island with the intense underwater life offers unique images. One of the best beaches on the island is Myrsini on the east side, which is also called "white beach" or "Hawaii" because of the white sand and the saturated water.

Diaporos is uninhabited with only few private villas, some of which you can rent.  The only way to get there is by boat. To be able to enjoy the tranquility of the island, without time restrictions you can rent your own boat without the need of a licence.
