Agios Alexandros Island

Near the Temple of Artemis in Vravrona, Attica, and right across the Nautical Club, there is the tiny islet of Agios Alexandros. On the islet stands the quaint chapel of Agios Alexandros which as it is said, was built overnight, in order to prevent the construction of a hotel on the islet. Next to it, stands a small windmill while on the other side of the island there is a very small sandy beach with crystal-clear waters. The island can be reached through swimming from the opposite shore.
